Eep, I've been rather inactive on my blog during the month of November. ;;

I'm also behind on posting some cosplay photos and new art onto my site, but the iMac (where I keep my website folders, have access to FTP, and Dreamweaver...) are away for an upgrade. B-but that's okay! It'll come back faster than before! 8D

But mostly as of late, I'm more concerned about my upcoming exam for my driver's license (WHICH HAPPENS TOMORROW EEP). It took me a 3 month wait to get this session, I really don't want to screw it up. |||| I can only pray things go way and trust that I've had enough practise on all the skills up to this point... Funny enough, it's lane changes that I can never nail. You better hope you're not the car behind me when I go into the left lane. TuT *is hazard to society*

Lord, is it almost December already? I have a ton of stuff to do for November still! ;n; (HETALIA CALENDAR PIC. I -WILL- FINISH YOU after the driver's test orz. Goddamnit COME BACK IMACCCC). And AH. X'MAS CARDS. I'm late every year, I was hoping this year would be different!

And must work on those last few cosplays for 2009. |||orz I think this year was actually a not so decent year for how many outfits I managed, but still, I'm quite happy with the outfits.
2009 cosplays:
Romeo, Len (Magnet, Grave of Dragon), Denmark, Marth, Sebastian (doesn't really count lol but w/e), and likely adding at least one more.
Not that much of an achievement, but with my SCon and AE line-up already planned, 2010 looks to be a busy year. orz

Oh man guys I don't think I've made NEARLY enough AUSA posts in the past two days, so HERE HAVE ANOTHER ONE! Here's The full video of Alli and I karaoking Gekokujou! I thought we did pretty well for Alli not being able to breath (lol, getting used to breathing properly with bindings takes practice yo) and for not being able to here the music very well at certain parts due to another event one room over. I totally got off at one part, aughhh. And I was reaallly sharp in Rin's second solo section...BUT OH WELL IT WAS FUN :D Thanks for being our cameragirl for this Bur XD

YOKAIDEN 2 OUT IN STORES TODAY

It has three reviews so far and they're all positive!

The first review is by Brigid Alverson at MangaBlog. Spoiler haters beware -- it gives away much of the plot from beginning to end.

The second review is by Michael C. Lorah at Newsarama, who's never read the first volume.

The third review is by Leroy Douresseaux at Comic Book Bin. It's the first rated review; the book received an A-. (He gave Yokaiden 1 a B+ last year.)

Oh man, having to be at work at 5:30 in the morning the day after a con just...blows XD But I survived!

Anyway, Anime USA! It was...the most boring convention I've ever been to, lol. But as usual, a boring convention is saved by the amazing people there! I got to spend time with some of my favorite people who I don't get to see often, and also holy shit I actually got photoshoots done for every costume I wore :D

That pretty much concludes the report. I feel like overall the convention was...good and bad. There were so many times were I was having an absolutely blast, but then there were other times where I just felt really...off. Not myself. I'm not positive as to why. I know some of you noticed it, and to you guys, I'm sorry. But I certainly had lots of fun, so I'm just going to focus on that and hold on those memories, and let go of the not-so-good ones. Who needs the bad ones anyway?

Speaking of mashups, I've been greatly enjoying DJ Hero. I like to conquer all sorts of rhythm games, but I've never tackled a DJ game asides from trying Beatmania once. It's a bit more complicated and involved than guitar and drum games, and I like that. And of course, it has a great list of songs.

Hey guys, the painted prototype for the "crazy coyote" resin figure(re: "toyote") is complete! Pictures can be found here, but I've asked PatchTogether to take a better photo of it from a different angle because the ones they chose are kinda unflattering.

The figure is still available for order and will be shipped out in January.
